WHY PLANT A CHURCH?
Planting churches is the most effective way to reach the lost people of the world, who are desperately in need of the hope & peace that only Jesus can give them. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commissioned his disciples to go and make more disciples, baptizing & teaching them. Church planting is a fitting response - typically 60-80% of those attending church plants are new believers.
New, mission-minded local churches expand the reach of the Universal Church to share the gospel & help people know & follow Jesus. Paul and other early church leaders used church planting as their own strategy, starting new churches to bring the life-changing good news of Jesus to the world around them. We, as believers, are called to do the same.
