CHBC Men
CHBC Men is modeled after the life of Jesus:
"The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve" (Matthew 20:28)
WHEN DO WE DO IT?
1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00 - 10:30 AM at CHBC.
WHY DO WE DO IT?
We are infinitely indebted to serve Christ for having lavished so rich a salvation upon each and every believer. Jesus set the ultimate example of selfless sacrifice and relentless gospel-focused ministry, and by the Spirit’s power we long to be used by God in any way possible. It’s with a heart of gratitude and thankfulness that we serve the Lord for what he has done, and is doing, for us.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
“'Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts"
(Zechariah 4:6)
WHO WE ARE:
We are broken men being restored and transformed into the image of Jesus Christ.
We are the spiritual leaders of our families. We honor our wives and strive to serve our families however God leads.
We are spiritual mentors and brothers in Christ to one another: young men and old, single and married.
We are Spirit-led and gospel-minded, hungry for God's Word, with a focus on making disciples.
We are committed to brotherly fellowship, scripture, prayer, and worship.
We are available to assist with the needs of CHBC, other church ministries, and members of the community.
We are the tent assemblers, the chair stackers, the table arrangers, the heavy lifters, the run-to-the-store fetchers, the snow shovelers, the trailer pullers, the burden carriers, and the servant leaders.
We are CHBC MEN.
WHAT WE DO:
We glorify Jesus Christ.
We strive to be Christ-like husbands, fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins, and friends.
We honor scripture.
We encourage evangelism.
We make disciple makers.
We are available for any CHBC need.
We love to feed the people.
