Members will vote on potential elders immediately after 1st service on Sunday, March 12th.
Dan Parsons: Potential Elder
Dan and his family began attending CHBC in February of 2002. Now with three adult children and a new grandchild, Dan and his wife, Jenel, are enjoying life as empty- nesters and grandparents. Over the years Dan has served CHBC in various capacities including on the Elder Board, on the worship team, teaching Sunday school, greeting, and leading a Life Group.
With a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Dan has worked at the Gates Corporation in various engineering capacities since graduating from college. His Application Engineering work over the years has brought many interesting travel experiences. He recently added a second part-time job working with industry standards organizations that he plans to carry into his retirement years.
Dan and Jenel have been married for 34+ years and have a passion for hiking, camping, backpacking, and kayaking in our wonderful Colorado mountains. God’s majesty and presence come alive to us as we explore and enjoy this glorious part of His creation.
Nothing excites Dan and Jenel more than seeing God work in people’s lives, changing, molding, and conforming them to Himself. We love being a part of the CHBC family.
