Jim Longmire: Potential Elder
Jim and his family began attending CHBC in 2007. They have two adult boys, who live in the Denver area. Jim worked for the USPS for 27 years as a rural carrier in Evergreen, CO.
Since retirement a few years back, Jim has served as a deacon, and is currently a part of the church Building & Grounds Team, the Security Team, and the Planning Committee. He enjoys hiking and climbing 14000 ft peaks in his time off. He and his wife, Peggy, will be celebrating their 37 th anniversary this year and enjoy seeing God’s faithfulness and all things He is doing at CHBC.
Mark Bolte: Potential Elder
Mark Bolte, Psy.D. has over 30 years of clinical mental health experience and 20 years of experience consulting with military, law enforcement and non-profit organizations, especially in the areas of personnel selection and development. He is a full professor at Colorado Christian University where he teaches in the MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. He maintains a private practice with Palmetto Counseling Associates.
In this capacity, he provides assessments and counseling with an emphasis on professional and personal development. Since 1997, he has consulted with military and law enforcement officials regarding personnel selection processes for positions requiring high levels of human reliability and leadership. Whether it is with students, clients or organizational leaders, he is passionate about seeing people gain a vision and then achieve their full potential and calling. He and his wife Susan have been married for 35 years, and have two sons, Reese and Scott.
Dan Parsons: Potential Elder
Dan and his family began attending CHBC in February of 2002. Now with three adult children and a new grandchild, Dan and his wife, Jenel, are enjoying life as empty- nesters and grandparents. Over the years Dan has served CHBC in various capacities including on the Elder Board, on the worship team, teaching Sunday school, greeting, and leading a Life Group.
With a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Dan has worked at the Gates Corporation in various engineering capacities since graduating from college. His Application Engineering work over the years has brought many interesting travel experiences. He recently added a second part-time job working with industry standards organizations that he plans to carry into his retirement years.
Dan and Jenel have been married for 34+ years and have a passion for hiking, camping, backpacking, and kayaking in our wonderful Colorado mountains. God’s majesty and presence come alive to us as we explore and enjoy this glorious part of His creation.
Nothing excites Dan and Jenel more than seeing God work in people’s lives, changing, molding, and conforming them to Himself. We love being a part of the CHBC family.
Ron Whisman: Potential Elder
When Ron and his wife Nancy moved to Bailey in 1988, they became members of Crow Hill Bible Church. They have 4 grown children. Dexter and his wife, Courtney, have 3 children and live in Colorado Springs. Windee and her husband, Kyle, have 2 children and live in Ft. Collins. Dillon and his wife, Megan, have 1 child and live in Longmont. Dustin has 2 cats and lives in Denver.
Ron and Nancy own a Pepperidge Farm distributorship and service stores in Arvada, Denver, and Westminster. Ron is passionate about the Denver Broncos, his 6 grandkids, and helping people become debt free through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University which he helps coordinate.
Jim Gilman: Emeritus Elder
Jim and wife Sharon, have been members of CHBC since 1998. They were married in July 1964 and have a married daughter, a married son and 7 grandchildren.
Jim is an Industrial Engineer by education and has been involved in Residential Real Estate for the last 30 years.
Jim has been blessed to be an Elder in Several churches over the last 50+ years and considered it an honor and privilege to be a part of advancing the Kingdom of God in the local bodies of Christ.
